As of 31st March 2009, all HGV’s that have a maximum weight of more than 3.5 tonnes and that were registered after 1st January 2000, MUST have a blind spot solution in place.
This means that you must either:
- Change the whole mirror unit
- Change the mirror glass unit
- Fit an additional blind spot mirror
- Or fit a camera system
